About Erin Gendron

Erin is a passionate and dedicated candidate running for Lowell City Council in District 3. Erin has deep roots in Lowell, where she is a proud mother of two young boys, ages 3 and 4, whom she is lovingly in the process of adopting with her husband, Steve. Her experience as an adoptive mother fuels her commitment to creating a better, safer, and more supportive community for families in Lowell.

Erin has spent over a decade in public service, with a strong background in social work. She currently works for the State of Massachusetts in the Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulations, helping ensure fair and equitable licensing practices. Prior to that, Erin served as a social worker in the Department of Children and Families (DCF) for 10 years, where she worked tirelessly to advocate for children and families in need.

A long-time active member of the Lowell community, Erin is currently serving on the City’s Board of Health, where she has gained valuable insights into the health and well-being of our residents. Through her work, Erin has developed a deep understanding of the challenges that local families face and is determined to bring practical solutions to the City Council.

Erin is running for City Council to bring fresh perspectives, compassionate leadership, and a strong voice for District 3. She is committed to making Lowell a place where families can thrive, where children have the resources and opportunities they need to succeed, and where all residents feel heard, supported, and empowered. Erin believes in working collaboratively to build a brighter future for our city, one where the needs of our community are always a top priority.
